MR Associates as a Controller and a Processor

MR Associates collects the following personal information :

Name and address, Company information from Companies House including website details, telephone numbers and email addresses.

We collect this information from : Email correspondence, call recording and payment Information.

This information may be collected when :

You contact MR Associates, your representatives share your data or when you engage with MR Associates through our services. We may also collect this through your employment, when you are contracted by MR Associates or when you participate or attend an MR Associates event or appointment.

In addition to the information stated above, MR Associates may collect additional information of stakeholders on an ‘as needed basis’ based on the circumstances of your case.

MR Associates operates a website that installs cookies on clients browsers. This can also result in information and demographics being collected automatically. This data can include IP address, operating system, software and device used and analytics. The cookies on the MR Associates website are ‘local’ and only used to allow functionality of the site. No third party cookies are used. You can decline the installation of cookies at any time however, this may result in the website not displaying or functioning properly.

How data is disclosed?

How will data be stored and protected?

MR Associates does not keep paper records, if we receive documents via post they are scanned and then destroyed. All information is stored electronically and protected by passwords. Anti virus software is installed and information is only retained as long as necessary for the purpose(s) for which it is obtained.

In addition, we have implemented various technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorized access to, or alteration or destruction of personal data in our possession. Our computers and systems are password protected and staff are not permitted to remove equipment that stores data from the premises without permission, including USB’s that contain protected data.

How do you protect a Child’s Privacy?

Under the General Data Protection Regulations, children are considered to be a vulnerable group, particularly susceptible to the impact of identity theft. Any communications with children will be in clear and plain language that can be easily understood. Consent will be obtained from a legal responsible adult or guardian to process and store a child’s information.

How do you access, modify or delete data that we hold about you?

You as the data subject have rights in relation to your data that include the right of rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, right to data portability and the right to object.
