Deb Scorthorne

Deb joined MR Associates in May 2006 and holds the position of Finance and Human Resources Administrator.

She is an ISEB qualified Software Tester with seven years of experience in the public and private sectors. Deb started at the Prudential as a User Acceptance Tester and then moved into system testing before ultimately becoming System Test Team Lead. After relocating to Scotland in 2002 she continued her career as a Financial System Tester for the Student Loans Company until the birth of her daughter in 2005. Her varied work experience prior to software testing included a post as Discretionary Awards Officer (at county council level), Medical Records Officer and Payroll Officer.

Deb was brought up in Coventry. She moved to Reading and graduated from the University of Reading in 1994 with an honours degree in Archaeology.

Deb enjoys cycling, hill walking and reading. She is married to Robin and they have two children together called Rebekah and Samuel.
